Mono Rejuvenation Threads
Mono Threads Melbourne
PDO mono threads are absorbable sutures made from polydioxanone (PDO), a material commonly used in medical procedures. Mono threads may be discussed where the treatment approach focuses on dermal support. In other cases, alternative thread designs may be considered where repositioning of soft tissue is being assessed. The procedure generally takes 30 – 45 minutes, depending on the treatment plan and areas being considered.
Areas that may be evaluated include the forehead, brow region, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks, neck and jawline.
PDO threads gradually dissolve over time. Individual tissue response varies, and recovery experiences differ between patients. Temporary swelling, bruising or tenderness may occur following treatment.
