    PRF Injections
We use PRF, Platelet Rich Fibrin in a series of gentle injections on the face as a subtle, all-natural alternative to dermal fillers. The growth factors found in PRF are key to helping reverse telltale signs of aging.

About Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Injections

For an all-natural filler option, you may want to consider Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Injections. PRF is collected from your very own blood. PRF can treat common areas that show the first signs of aging, like under-eye hollows and deflated cheeks.

PRF is the next generation of PRP and contains very high concentrations of white blood cells, fibrin and stem cells. PRF becomes a gel-like consistency immediately upon being injected into the face or body.

PRF acts as a temporary volumiser, however the true advantage of this treatment is the rejuvenation of skin quality. Unlike injectable fillers that serve a single purpose of addressing volume deficiency, the purpose of PRF injections is highly directed towards skin rejuvenation. When PRF is injected it stimulates fibroblasts, collagen and elastin to grow and therefore remodels and strengthens your skin.

PRF Injections

What is the difference between PRF and PRP?

Both PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) are blood concentrate therapies. At Elucell, both are being successfully used for topical skin treatments, collagen induction, facial volume and hair regrowth.

PRF is spun in the centrifuge at a low speed. With PRF, the collection tubes do not contain coagulants. PRF is naturally thicker than PRP and forms a gel when injected into the dermis.

PRP is spun in a centrifuge at a high speed and the collection tubes contain a coagulant which forms a gel separator. This gel separates the platelet-rich and platelet-poor plasma from the blood cells. The platelet-rich plasma is collected and used for treatments.

Who is a good candidate for this treatment?

Most people are good candidates for treatment. Many people seek this treatment because they are hesitant toward other products (dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections).

What skin issues does PRF treat?

PRF is a great natural alternative to dermal fillers and mesotherapy as it improves photo damage, fine lines, scars, pigmentation and poor skin texture.

  • Dermal Fillers

    Dermal Fillers

As skin ages, it gradually loses collagen, elastin and fat. Strategically placed dermal fillers take the place of lost fat pads and collagen. Some even promote the production of collagen. This helps to enhance areas, such as the lips or cheeks, by adding volume in a controlled way.

The treatment involves an acid solution being applied to the face which removes layers of the skin, unmasking the brand-new skin underneath and stimulating the formation of new skin cells.
